About this sweep
Soot Solutions provides chimney-sweeping services across the East Midlands, including Chesterfield, Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby. It works with open fires, multi-fuel stoves, log burners and inglenook fireplaces, helping households keep their chimneys and appliances clean and working safely.
Alongside routine sweeping, the service offers chimney and flue repairs, CCTV inspections, chimney surveys and help with blockages or smoke returning into the home. The team also removes chimney nests and debris, sweeps the flue afterwards, and can advise on or fit suitable cowls and bird guards.
The business says it is a registered member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS), uses traditional and rotary power-sweeping methods, and provides a certificate of work. CCTV equipment is used to investigate chimney issues, and the site describes protective sheeting and powerful industrial vacuums as part of its clean and tidy approach.
For homeowners with a working fireplace or stove, Soot Solutions offers annual certified maintenance as well as help with specific chimney problems. It also says it can advise on fuel types, appliance care and chimney maintenance.
