Moor Sweep

Moor Sweep serves Tavistock, Yelverton and the surrounding area, offering chimney care alongside practical stove services. Its work includes chimney sweeping, bird-nest clearance and CCTV inspections to check a flue’s condition.

Before sweeping, the sweep lays floor runners and dust sheets, and the website says the work area is left clean. Customers receive a certificate as proof of the sweep, which the business describes as recognised by insurers.

Stove services include regular or one-off servicing, gasket-rope repairs, stove-glass and fire-brick replacement, and the supply and fitting of replacement parts. Moor Sweep also fits cowls and bird guards, offers HETAS-qualified stove installation, and carries out drone surveys for issues such as leaking chimney stacks.

If you have several appliances, or live near neighbours arranging work on the same street, the business advertises a discount for multiple jobs. Its listed coverage extends around Tavistock and Yelverton, with the website describing a 20-mile radius.
