First Choice Chimney Sweeps

First Choice Chimney Sweeps serves Oxford and surrounding Oxfordshire, helping households care for open fires and stoves. The business says it has more than 30 years’ experience in the area and is an accredited member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS).

Regular sweeping removes soot and creosote from the flue. The team says most visits take about an hour and are followed by a smoke test; customers are also provided with an NACS certificate. Sweeps can advise on chimney and flue condition, suitable lining and how often a chimney should be cleaned.

For further investigation, the company offers smoke testing to help identify flue or liner issues and CCTV inspections with a recording. It also removes bird nests and installs bird guards to help prevent future blockages. These services offer practical options whether you need routine maintenance or want to investigate a concern.

The company describes its work as careful and thorough, aiming to leave the home clean, and says jobs are carried out by its own team. If you use an open fire or stove, it can discuss the care your particular setup needs.
