C Forster Chimney Sweeps

C Forster Chimney Sweeps is a small family business based in Birling, near West Malling. Craig Forster is a second-generation chimney sweep, and the business describes him as a Sweep Safe member and an early NVQ-qualified sweep. The team also includes Hayley Wright, who handles administration and appointments.

The core service is chimney sweeping, with sweeping and vacuuming offered for fireplaces and stoves. The business works with wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, Jetmasters, Agas and Rayburns. It also fits chimney cowls and bird guards, replaces chimney pots, and carries out stove servicing and repairs, including replacement glass, door rope and fire bricks.

For flue checks and fault-finding, customers can ask about colour CCTV inspections, chimney-flue and liner inspections, and recording of findings. Other listed work includes bird’s-nest removal and rotary power sweeping for heavy tar and creosote deposits. A smoke test and certificate are described as part of the standard sweep on the services page.

Based in Kent, the business covers West Malling and nearby places including Aylesford, Maidstone, Rochester, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. If you need advice about a chimney, appliance or fuel choice, the official site presents the team as happy to help.
