Burston and Son Chimney Services

Burston & Son Chimney Services provides chimney sweeping, inspections and stove maintenance in Exmouth and across East Devon. The business works with both domestic and commercial customers, using rod-and-brush, rotary and viper systems for flue sweeping.

Alongside routine sweeping, services include stove servicing, surveys and inspections, draught testing, chimney integrity testing, creosote and tar treatment, and advice on chimney problems. The team also undertakes nest removal and bird or pest protection, cowl fitting, chimney fan installation and servicing, and chimney pot or crown repairs and replacement.

The business describes its approach as professional, clean and friendly. Its website says the sweep holds Master Sweep status with the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps, has an NVQ in chimney sweeping and is registered with SweepSafe. Training also includes historic buildings and thatched properties, supporting work on a range of chimney types.

Based in Exmouth, Burston & Son covers nearby places including Exeter, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Honiton and surrounding East Devon communities. If you need a sweep, stove maintenance or help investigating a chimney issue, the business also offers advice on its services.
