Brush & Co. Chimney Sweeping

Brush & Co. Chimney Sweeping is a family-run business serving Grimsby and the surrounding area. Established in 2024, it is led by Ben, a NACS-trained chimney sweep, with support from his family.

The business sweeps stoves with lined or unlined flues, open fires and builders’ openings, as well as solid-fuel cookers. Specialist CCTV equipment is available for checking parts of the flue that cannot be seen during a visual inspection; CCTV inspections and surveys are also offered.

During a sweep, protective sheets are laid along the route to the fireplace and nearby furniture is covered. The chimney, fireplace and terminal are visually checked before work begins. After sweeping, the stove or grate is reassembled and a smoke evacuation check is carried out. Customers receive a NACS certificate, and the business says it can remind them when their next annual sweep is due.

Replacement parts, bird-nest removal and the supply and fitting of bird guards and cowls are also listed. If you use a stove or open fire, the published service information gives a clear picture of the careful, inspection-led approach offered.
