Bridlington Chimney Sweeps

Bridlington Chimney Sweeps provides chimney sweeping and related stove and flue services in Bridlington and surrounding villages. Dusty says he has worked in the industry since 2005 and has been a member of the Sweep Safe chimney sweep association since 2018.

Sweeping uses a power rotary system. The work area is protected with floor and hearth coverings, a soot sheet and a vacuum; the hearth is cleaned afterwards and a smoke test is carried out. Customers receive a digital Sweep Safe certificate after each sweep.

Services include open-fire and stove sweeps, stove servicing, specialist tar removal, CCTV flue inspections, drone surveys and bird-nest removal. Stove parts and glass replacement, stove-rope replacement and flue-debris collars are also offered. The business supplies and fits cowls and birdguards, including options for reducing downdraught or capping a disused flue.

If you have a stove, the operator asks that it has a lined flue or suitable access hatch. He does not dismantle commissioned flues or move stoves, and may decline DIY-fitted appliances. Some cowl-fitting work is limited by safe access and chimney height. The services are aimed at people needing maintenance or inspection for open fires, stoves and chimneys.
