About this sweep
Breckland Brush provides chimney sweeping from Watton, Norfolk, serving Dereham, Attleborough, Swaffham, Thetford, Wymondham, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding villages. The business says it is fully insured and a member of the National Association of Sweeps.
Its sweeping service covers a wide range of appliances and fuels, including cooking ranges such as AGAs, wood, multi-fuel, biomass, oil and gas. Sweeps use either power-sweeping equipment or traditional brushes and rods, and the work is carried out under the National Association of Chimney Sweeps Code of Practice.
The team also issues landlords’ inspection certificates and NACS certificates, removes nests, supplies and fits bird guards and cowls, and undertakes stove and flue maintenance such as door re-roping, stove blackening and flue-joint resealing. Work areas are sealed and sheeted before work, with the site left clean and tidy afterwards.
Breckland Brush is used to working with thatched properties and their fire and wood-burner maintenance needs. If you have a wood-burning or multi-fuel appliance, a gas or oil fire, or need a landlord’s certificate, the published service information indicates that these are within its scope.
