Blake's Chimney Sweeping & Woodburner Services

Blake's Chimney Sweeping & Woodburner Services provides chimney and stove services from Weeley, serving Clacton, Frinton, Walton and surrounding areas. The business says it has been sweeping and repairing chimneys for over 30 years, combining traditional values with modern equipment and methods.

Its sweeping service covers solid-fuel flues, including fireplaces, stoves and inglenooks, as well as biomass, gas and oil flues. Rodtech equipment is used for power sweeping. After a sweep, customers receive a certificate, with observations and recommendations discussed with them.

Beyond sweeping, the team offers stove repairs and maintenance, smoke testing, camera inspections of chimneys and liners, and bird-nest removal. Chimney pot repairs and other chimney repairs are also available. The website says the sweep can fit and test carbon monoxide alarms and provide advice on chimney and flue matters.

For those choosing a new appliance, Blake's supplies and fits woodburners in traditional and contemporary styles, with ongoing maintenance available. Stove-care products are also shown as available in the showroom. The business states that work is carried out by a qualified and insured sweep, without subcontracting to third parties.
