Blackwater & Essex Chimney Sweeps Ltd.

Blackwater & Essex Chimney Sweeps Ltd provides chimney and flue sweeping across Essex and Suffolk, from its base in West Mersea. The business describes its approach as combining traditional values with modern techniques, and says it is fully insured and a qualified member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps.

The service covers all chimney and flue types, using professional brushing and vacuuming with HEPA 3 dust control. The published services include smoke-emission testing with each sweep, removal of soot, debris and dangerous tar or creosote, and help with bird’s nests and other blockages. An insurance-recognised certificate is issued on completion.

Customers can also ask about chimney problems, stove repairs and servicing, replacement parts, or the supply and fitting of pots, cowls and bird guards. Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms can be fitted and tested. The business offers free quotes and impartial advice on choosing appliances and flues, as well as guidance on fuel use and running costs.

Whether you need a routine sweep, help with a blockage or advice about an appliance, the business invites enquiries from across its main service area and says it will consider jobs outside Essex and Suffolk too.
