Black Dog Chimney and Stoves

Black Dog Chimney and Stoves provides chimney sweeping and stove services in Calne and across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Its work includes chimney and flue sweeping using traditional and rotary power equipment, alongside CCTV inspections and flue draught testing. The team also installs, replaces and services stoves, and undertakes chimney lining using stainless-steel flexible liners and twin-wall systems.

Additional work includes chimney-stack rebuilding, repointing and maintenance, bird-nest removal, and supplying and fitting chimney pots, cowls and bird guards. The service range also covers commercial chimney sweeping, biomass units, Agas and Rayburns, and work on thatched and listed properties. Carbon monoxide alarm installation and sensor testing are available too.

The business states that its technicians are HETAS-qualified and that it is a member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps. It says it is fully insured and can provide certificates for completed installations and sweeps.
