Best Swept Chimneys

Best Swept Chimneys provides chimney sweeping and related home-care services in Atherstone and a wide surrounding area. The NACS-trained and certified sweep works with open fires, wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, and other sweepable flues, including those serving oil-fired boilers and gas fires.

Alongside sweeping, the service includes bird nest and blockage removal, stove and fireplace maintenance, and the supply and fitting of chimney cowls and cages. The business also offers creosote treatment, carbon monoxide alarms, stove thermometers and moisture meters. Sweeps include an inspection and a certificate endorsed by the National Association of Chimney Sweeps.

Care is taken to protect the home during the work. Dust sheets are used, dust escape is minimised and the area is vacuumed afterwards; existing carbon monoxide alarms can also be checked and tested. Stove maintenance may include cleaning internal components and replacing damaged glass or rope.

The service is aimed at householders who use a fireplace, stove or other suitable flue and want help keeping it clean and maintained. A reminder service is available to help customers arrange future sweeps.
