Best Chimney Clean Limited

Best Chimney Clean Limited has been looking after chimneys in Exeter and the surrounding district since 1954. Its work centres on sweeping and testing chimneys, with a focus on helping customers keep their fireplaces and solid-fuel appliances safe and working well.

Traditional brush-and-vac methods and power sweeping are selected to suit the chimney. Visits include practical safety checks, smoke testing and care to protect surfaces and furnishings. The team also offers CCTV and endoscopic inspections, flue mapping, pressure testing and drone inspections for hard-to-view chimney exteriors.

Other work includes bird-nest removal, fitting cowls, bird guards, spikes and chimney caps, carbon monoxide alarms, and servicing burners. Landlords and homebuyers can request safety checks and reports, while owners of thatched properties can seek specialist inspections. The business also provides advice on chimney and appliance care.

Serving Exeter and a wide surrounding area, the team works with open fires and a range of appliances, including woodburners, multi-fuel stoves, boilers, biomass and pellet appliances, Rayburns and AGAs. Its approach combines modern inspection equipment with friendly, independent advice and experienced chimney-sweeping work.
