Berringtons Chimney Sweep

Berringtons Chimney Sweep is a family-run business serving Thatcham and surrounding areas. Formed by Charles in 2011, it offers traditional and power chimney sweeping, with brushing and vacuuming for solid-fuel and log-burning appliances.

The service covers multi-fuel stoves, open fires, log burners and Aga stoves. Help is also available with nest and blockage removal, CCTV chimney surveys, and fitting cages, caps and cowls. Carbon monoxide alarms and stove thermometers are supplied.

Dust sheets are used to protect the area around the fireplace, and the business describes its approach as keeping the home as clean as possible. Customers can also receive advice about stoves, their operation and maintenance. The website identifies Charles as NACS trained and says certificates are issued.

Whether you have an open fire or a stove, Berringtons provides chimney care for householders looking for sweeping, inspection or help with a blockage or nest.
