Been Swept

Been Swept is a qualified chimney-sweeping business covering Shropshire and some surrounding areas. Founded by Matt in 2013, it offers sweeping for open fires, wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, oil and pellet boilers, and range cookers.

The service uses traditional brushes and rods, with attention to both historic and modern features. CCTV surveys, chimney-pot and cowl fittings, smoke tests and manual sweeping are also listed. Standard sweep visits include a compliance certificate, smoke-drawer test, applicable carbon-monoxide detector testing and an annual reminder service.

For weddings and civil ceremonies, Matt offers a lucky chimney sweep to bring a touch of history and tradition to the occasion. It is a distinctive option for couples looking for something a little different.

The business describes its sweep as NACS-registered, qualified, fully insured and DBS-checked. If you have an appliance that needs attention, or are planning a celebration with a traditional twist, Been Swept’s published services cover both.
