B. Scott Chimney Services

B. Scott Chimney Services is an independent chimney sweep and wood-burning stove installer based in the Leicester area. It serves Leicestershire and surrounding areas, with travel beyond the region possible by arrangement.

For homes and commercial properties, the business offers routine chimney sweeping for open fires, wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, Agas, Rayburns, boilers and gas fires. Sweeping uses a brush-and-vacuum system, and a house insurance certificate is issued on completion. Advice, bird-nest removal, cowls and birdguards, chimney repairs, solid-fuel servicing and fire or stove repairs are also listed.

Stove installation services include wood-burning and multi-fuel appliances, fireplace alterations, flexible flue liners, twin-wall insulated flue systems, closure plates and ventilation. The business also offers stove and fireplace supply, carbon monoxide alarms, and testing and demonstration after installation. A free site survey and estimate are available, alongside advice on choosing a stove.

The website describes the service as fully insured and CRB checked, and states that the business is a member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps and a HETAS registered installer. If you are planning a stove installation, it can advise on options even where a property has no existing chimney.
