Atlas Chimney Sweep Limited

Atlas (Chimney Sweep) Limited is a family-run chimney sweeping business serving Woodbridge, Ipswich and communities across Suffolk. The business says its family tradition dates back to 1947 and offers sweeping for residential properties, from older homes to modern ones.

Its work covers open fires, multi-fuel stoves, wood burners, oil and solid-fuel boilers, Agas, Rayburns and Parkrays. The company also lists removal of inactive birds’ nests and offers a free annual reminder service, while keeping a record of swept flues.

The company describes its process as clean and efficient, using modern professional equipment. It says its chimney sweeping follows National Association of Chimney Sweeps standards and that it issues recognised NACS certificates for insurance. All chimneys are stated to be swept to BS 6461 standards.

For additional work such as fitting a bird guard or cowl, Atlas says it can recommend a local trusted business. Its service is aimed at householders looking for specialist chimney sweeping and advice for their particular appliance or flue.
