Ashburton Chimney Sweep

Ashburton Chimney Sweep is a local team based in Buckfastleigh, serving homes and businesses across central Devon, Dartmoor and the South Hams. Its work covers chimney sweeping, servicing and maintenance for wood and multifuel burners, open fires and biomass boilers.

Alongside routine sweeping, the team carries out stove and fireplace installation, refurbishment and repairs. Specialist work includes chimney tar removal, bird nest removal, chimney cowl fitting, external chimney maintenance, pressure integrity testing and ceramic lining using the Eldfast system.

CCTV and drone surveys help the team inspect flues, roofs and chimney exteriors. The business says stove flues are power-swept and checked with CCTV as standard, and that it provides a certificate and report after each sweep. It also undertakes thatched-property inspections and can advise on chimney and appliance maintenance.

Bee swarm capture, relocation and hive removal are also offered, with bees safely re-homed. The team describes itself as friendly and reliable, and serves both residential and commercial customers. Whether you need a routine sweep, help with a stove or a closer look at a chimney, its range of services spans cleaning, inspection and repair.
