Andy Barker Chimney Sweep

Andy Barker Chimney Sweep provides chimney sweeping and related services across Leeds, with a stated focus on North Leeds and surrounding areas. The work includes cleaning and clearing flues, fitting cowls and birdguards, and capping chimneys that are no longer in use.

Before sweeping, rooms are prepared and fireplaces sealed; afterwards, the working area is cleaned and vacuumed. Smoke checks are also shown as part of the work. An NACS certificate is provided with every sweep, and Andy states that he is an NACS member with public liability insurance.

Cowls and birdguards are offered to help address downdraughts and keep birds and other wildlife out of flues. Chimney capping is available for disused chimneys, including caps with built-in insect repellent. A Flue Cube approved installer is also noted for short-system downdraught issues.

The service is suited to households needing attention for a chimney, flue, open fire or stove. The business describes its approach as clean and tidy, and lists communities across Leeds and nearby North Leeds areas among the places it covers.
