Adrian Payne Chimney Sweep

Adrian Payne Chimney Sweep serves homes around Shobrooke and Crediton, reaching across much of Mid Devon. Adrian sweeps and certifies chimneys and flues for open fires, woodburning stoves, Aga and Rayburn appliances, and offers advice on heating homes safely.

Adrian is a fully insured member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS), having completed its training and examinations. After each sweep, he issues a certificate in accordance with the NACS Code of Practice, providing evidence for insurance purposes.

Traditional rods and brushes are used for the sweeping, with an industrial vacuum running alongside to reduce dust and help tidy the work area. Adrian also carries out a smoke evacuation test after each job to check the chimney’s draw or the oil flow through the flue.

The service area extends towards Okehampton and Northlew, Chawleigh and Witheridge, and Tedburn, Chagford and Belstone, as well as east towards Exeter. Exeter city centre is excluded. If you use an open fire, stove, Aga or Rayburn, the service combines routine chimney care with practical testing and safety advice.
