A Underwood Commercial Sweeping Ltd

Andrew Underwood Commercial Sweeping Ltd is a family-run chimney business based in Melksham. Started by Andrew in 1984, it is now run by Andrew alongside his two sons, serving Wiltshire towns and surrounding villages as well as parts of Somerset.

The team carries out sweeping for chimneys and boilers, with certificates issued for completed work. Its wider services include smoke checks, bird-nest removal, chimney rebuilding and repointing, general repairs, lead work, and supplying and fitting chimney pots and cowls. It also offers wood-burner and flue installation, stove and liner repairs, and wedding appearances.

The business describes itself as a NACS member and a HETAS-approved sweep and installer. It says work is carried out with care and the correct certification, and highlights a knowledgeable, friendly service. Early-morning and weekend appointments are available, with scheduling intended to be flexible around clients.

Alongside individual chimney work, the company undertakes contract work for local businesses, estates and letting agents. If you need a sweep, repairs or installation work, it invites enquiries for a free, no-obligation estimate.
