A.S. Chimneys

A.S. Chimneys is a family-run chimney and fireplace business serving Derbyshire, including Ashbourne and the surrounding area. Its team undertakes chimney sweeping as well as stove and fireplace projects, from supplying and fitting a new appliance to planning a complete fireplace renovation.

For routine care, the team sweeps chimneys, services appliances and issues a sweeping certificate. Sweeping visits can also include an assessment of the chimney system, with advice and remedial work available if a problem is identified. CCTV inspections, smoke pressure testing, tar removal and chimney unblocking are also described among its services.

Installation and renovation work includes stove sourcing and fitting, chimney lining, fireplace design and construction, hearths and oak beams. The business also undertakes chimney stack repairs, repointing and rebuilding, and works on older and listed properties. For solid-fuel systems, it offers wet heating installations, including systems linked with radiators or hot water.

The business describes its team as NVQ-qualified, with HETAS-approved installers and members of APICS. It also carries out commercial sweeping, including work for estate and letting agents and private commercial estates. Whether you need a regular sweep or are planning a new stove and fireplace, the team presents itself as a single provider for the associated chimney work.
