A+E Chimney Sweep

A+E Chimney Sweep is a family-run business based in Stoke Canon, near Exeter, serving homes and businesses across Exeter, East Devon, Mid Devon and Teignbridge. Amy and Ewan provide chimney and flue care for traditional fireplaces, ranges and modern log burners, using methods suited to the appliance and job.

Alongside manual and rotary sweeping, the team offers camera inspections and written reports, bird-nest and pest removal, and minor wood-burner repairs. Repair work can include attention to fire bricks, baffles and door-rope seals. Sweeping includes an insurance-recognised certificate backed by the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS).

The business works with a wide range of properties, from modern and listed homes to heritage and thatched buildings, as well as commercial premises. Its approach centres on careful work and keeping soot and dust under control, with protective coverings and specialist vacuum equipment used during visits.

A+E is a member of both NACS and the Federation of British Chimney Sweeps. The team also provides guidance on chimney care and future sweeping needs, with reminders for returning customers.
