A & J Chimneys & Flues

A & J Chimneys & Flues provides chimney sweeping across Manchester, Greater Manchester, Tameside and Cheshire, with the option to ask about availability further afield. Its work includes sweeping and smoke testing flues, CCTV inspections and resolving chimney blockages.

For stove projects, the business can supply and fit multi-fuel and wood-burning stoves. Its website says installations follow HETAS guidelines and are supplied with a certificate, and that free site surveys are available for customers in the Manchester region.

Related chimney work includes fitting or removing bird guards, flue liners, chimney pots and cowls, as well as capping and repointing chimneys and repairing or replacing lead flashings. Guttering repairs are also listed among its services.

The business serves both domestic and commercial properties. It describes its approach as professional and courteous, and says sweeping is carried out with a brush and vacuum to leave the area clean and tidy.
