5 Star Gutter Cleaning and Chimney Sweep

5 Star Gutter Cleaning and Chimney Sweep is a Leicestershire family business, owned and operated by Carmel and Kevin. Its chimney work is carried out by an NVQ Level 2-qualified sweep who is HETAS approved and a member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps.

The team sweeps open fires, log burners, multi-fuel stoves, Agas and Rayburns, choosing power or traditional brush methods to suit the chimney. Sweeps include a smoke test, and the business says it provides HETAS certification and carries out safety checks. Cowl fitting, bird’s-nest removal and practical advice are also available, alongside stove servicing, repairs and installation.

There is more to the service than chimney care. The business also cleans and repairs gutters, fascias and barge boards, removes algae and offers pressure washing. Its gutter-cleaning work uses a ground-based vacuum system, high-reach poles and a wireless inspection camera; the site says this can reach over conservatories and balconies.

Serving Leicestershire and surrounding areas, the company describes its approach as clean and tidy, punctual and efficient. Protective covers are used during chimney work, and customers can request a no-obligation quotation.
